‘Nintendo Switch 2’ FAQ

Hi all! Although there is no official data yet on the next Nintendo system, it’s pretty clear it’ll be coming at some point this year. I wanted to make a quick FAQ so customers know what to expect from us in the months leading to release.

Q: Will you be carrying ‘Switch 2’?

A: Absolutely! As long as it has physical game compatibility, we will carry the systems, games, accessories, etc.

Q: Can I pre-order a ‘Switch 2’?

A: Unfortunately not. We will not know our allocation of systems until a few weeks before release. I -highly- suggest trying to secure a pre-order elsewhere, and using us as a potential back-up option.

Q: Can I get on a call list?

A: YES! We will be starting a ‘Raincheck’ list in store at a later date. PLEASE NOTE – being on the raincheck list is NOT a pre-order.

When we get our allocation, we will call customers in the order they are on the list. If they want the system, great. If not, we will move on to the next customer.

Q: Anything else to note?

A: We will have a strict limit of 1 ‘Switch 2’ system per family. We will also be requiring the purchase of additional game(s) or controller(s) with the system.

The additional purchases ensure scalpers do not purchase systems from us, and we are also required by our distributor to purchase a certain number of units of software/controllers with each system. More info on this will be given at a later time.
