Collection Appraisal
Video Game Collection Appraisals is a service offered by Complete in Box’s Spenser. Just like any other type of collection, you’ve put time, energy, and most importantly, money, into your passion, and it’s time to safe-guard your collection.
His appraisal service focuses on preparing your collection to be insured – most Homeowners policies have a strict dollar limit to what is covered, and may not include a game collection.
That’s where the appraisal service steps in! He will get you all the information you need, so you can further the process to protect your investment.
Spenser is well-adapt in the game industry. He knows the ever-changing prices, what is popular, and the particularly hot items. The appraisals include:
-Total estimated value of collection (OPTIONAL: individual break-down by game, by system)
-Highlighting key pieces of collection (OPTIONAL: an estimated grade for higher-end pieces, or, an estimated grade for most or all pieces)
-High-quality photos of collection
-All done on an on-site visit
The appraisal can be done as simply or in-depth as you want it. All collections are unique, and we will tackle each one individually.
Fees will be discussed in full before-hand. Fee dependent on size of collection, and how in-depth you want the appraisal. Limit to collections within reasonable distance from Ephrata, PA (for now).
Disc Buffing
We can get almost any scratches out of your old games! We run them through a professional strength disc buffer, and make the discs shine again!
Single discs available for $3 each, with special bundle pricing: 2 for $5, 3 for $6, and more discounts on larger quantities.
Testing
Have an old system that you’re not sure functions? We can test it out in store for you.
No cost for testing systems.
FAQ
Do you sell online or ship?
No. As our stock is constantly changing, and we get a variety of customers visiting us, we keep all stock in store, for the best in-store experience.
When can I bring in items to sell/trade?
We purchase items from customers M-F, 11-8. We are always able to pre-quote you – simply email or message us with pictures of the items. Pre-quotes always take precedence over walk-in trades. We guarantee all online quotes for 4 days.
Are you affiliated with Cards Next Door?
No. Although we fully support CND and love having them next to us, we are completely, 100% unaffiliated. Any CND related questions should be asked to their owner, George Benn, directly.
Do you repair general Tech?
No. We can refer you to Mentzer Repair, located on North State St in Ephrata.
Will you be getting (insert new release game or special edition)?
If it is listed on the upcoming releases, yes. We accept pre-orders up to the day before release. As a small, single store, we do not get many special or collector’s editions of games upon release.
Are you hiring?
As a single store operation with a small, dedicated staff, we do not hire often. If we ever do, we will post on here and all of our social medias!
Do you have plans to open additional locations?
We really appreciate being asked this one! We are going to stay as a one store operation, always located in the Trout Run Center in Ephrata, PA. Staying as a single store allows us to get to know our customers better, and we are able to provide a much better service to our community.
